Old Rope Records was in the space of generic ambient music. This involved getting top po-sition on streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, amazon. Once the production team decided on the music genre and geography they were releasing in, I would then create a music label from scratch. Find a non-trademarked name, create its logo, and branding with colour and typefaces. As distinct artwork was required in thousands, I would create a base design with a number of variables. My work required researching on the audience and strategising on colours, patterns, shapes, illustrations, photographs, typesetting. Also using photoshop actions, excel to quicken the process.
As the office was shutting down, due to market manipulation by Spofity, and the inevitability of AI generated music. I worked on a presentation and training videos for future buyers of the business.
